Pof are pretty easy, too, but you need mounts to get to most of them. Hot maps are the only maps which you can get into without full masteries or story chapters done but you will need help for most hero points. You can try to find hero points train squad in lfg (type Y and open hot map that you need. There is not always hero points train but
You don't need to worry about doing a lot of damage or anything, just tag along. •. Hero point trains, look under lfg in HoT or PoF. Some regulars run it daily for tips so it won't be hard to find them. Add them to yourr flist once you do. In the future, you can run WvW and get tokens that you can trade for hero points. Every time they come out with an expansion, you have to level all over again, and usually regear as well. Every time Guild Wars 2 comes out with an expansion, I have to either get hero points or more often use the hero points I already have from playing in between expansions. The day EOD launched, I had 15 characters with EoD elite specs
About the Hero point, #GuildWars2 #djdragon Someone asked me how to unlock Elite Spec so I had to do this vid to explain in depth how to do it the right way. About the Hero point,
Levelling routine : I usually try to get every hero point on every zone, from low level zones to higher level zones, depending on my character level. Doing some hearts or events when I come by some, gathering wood, plants or metal when I have gathering tools and walk past some nodes.
The level to 80 hero points are exactly enough to get everything for your chore class. Each additional elite specialization requires 250 further hero points. No matter how you reach level 80, you will always have 398 hp + (any gained from hero challenges you have completed) once 80.
At level 80 you'll have enough hero points from leveling alone to learn all base class skills and traits. Sooner if you do hero challenges. Elite specs can only be learned once you learned all base skills/traits, so no need to save points.
When you have a booster, you will only get the points for the core. If you where leveling when doing so they only fill up the points until the core skils are unlocked. If you used the lvl boost on a lvl 80 you get no points because at lvl 80 you have enough to open up your core skills. With expansions you need 250 heropoints for each elite spec.
